→ Designing systems for transparency robustness – Joi Ito’s Web

Joi Ito, the MIT media lab‘s new Director, on how we should shape the future of transparency to gear it more towards public, less towards private:

Public figures and institutions in power should be forced to be transparent and private citizen should have privacy and the right to speak without fear of retribution or persecution. I think this is essential for democracy and open society and we need to push for and enable this to happen.

Worth to read it and think about how you could improve your business strategy to withstand this increased transparency that technology is enabling — a trend that is poised to continue.
